Always intrigued by the fluidity and organic beauty of nature, art is all around us.
This in channeled in my pieces using pendulums and swings, utilizing gravity and fluid techniques.
Love is the key factor that drives my art. Raw emotion shines through in a subliminal way.
Having been turned off of creating art at a young age, the artistic expression has been building up inside me for 20+ years.
My biggest passion growing up in boulder Colorado was nature. Spending as much time as I could exploring the mountains on skis, bike or by foot. I depict nature through my work in abstract, and often subtle ways.
I stayed in the mountains for college in Durango, CO, and graduated with a major in international business and a minor in economics. I Always had strong ambitions to start and operate businesses throughout my career.
While drafting different business plans, I began to realize that I wasn’t extremely passionate about any of them. I liked my current job (at a hotel) but was struggling to figure out what industry to start a career.
I bought some paint and canvases sometime in 2016, as something fun to do with my girlfriend. Soon I was pouring tons of time and money into teaching myself different acrylic techniques. It became my meditation, my happy place. All I wanted to do was paint. I found I was passionate about art.
